Financial Literacy Education

The Office of Financial Aid proudly offers a wide range of financial and money management education to support Georgia Southern students. Our programming focuses on helping students confidently navigate the FAFSA, understand financial aid, and develop lifelong money skills that will serve them throughout college and beyond. Through interactive seminars and presentations, we provide practical, student-centered guidance on everything from budgeting and credit to loans and repayment planning. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions now and in the future. All services are free for currently enrolled students. If you’re interested in scheduling a presentation for a class, student organization, or department, please complete the presentation to please email finaid@georgiasouthern.edu. Include your preferred date, time, and campus. Presentation requests are accepted until 6:00 P.M. daily.
We also collaborate with local high schools and community organizations to offer financial literacy education beyond our campuses.
